Located in Vilar Torpim, a Beira village with more than 800 years of history, in the municipality of Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, “Casa dos Poços”, rural tourism housing, appears as a unique space, half-walls with Foz Côa and Spain, our neighboring country.
Surrounded by captivating landscapes and an integral part of a landmark heritage, the “Casa dos Poços”, a secret ready to be unveiled, combines tradition, contemporaneity and biodiversity.
This traditional house located in the middle of the countryside, with extraordinary tourist wealth, allows for a more direct contact with the populations, uses, customs and nature, revealing all the bucolic imagination of an interiority that is essential to discover. Granite, a typical stone from the edges, appears as the basic material of this architectural reconstruction.
The concept of this space involves the enjoyment of ecological climate control by geothermal heating, with ten theme rooms fully equipped, of which three are doubles, six are doubles and one is for people with reduced mobility. It also has a games room with bar, conference room, leisure and relaxation spaces, as well as a sauna, jacuzzi, Turkish bath and outdoor swimming pool. It has unique conditions in the region for holding workshops, meetings and conferences with a maximum capacity of 30 people, as well as for exhibitions and holding parties for up to 50 guests.
